Union Station/Bunker Hill Shuttle operates Monday through Friday. No service on Saturday, Sunday or the following holidays: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.

UNION STATION/BUNKER HILL SHUTTLE - MORNINGS

In the morning, the buses will be waiting for each Metrolink train at Bus Stop No. 2 on the Patsaouras Transit Plaza adjacent to the Metrolink tracks beginning at 6:37 AM. The last bus will leave Union Station at approximately 9:00 AM

OTHER LINKS TO DOWNTOWN LA

DASH

Union Station passengers can board Route B in the morning across the street from Union Station on Alameda Street at Los Angeles Street. In the evening, Route B stops on Alameda Street in front of Union Station. Route B serves a number of Downtown locations in Bunker Hill and the Financial District.

DASH Route D stops at Bus Stop No. 3 on the Patsaouras Transit Plaza. Route D serves the eastern part of the Civic Center, the Spring St. corridor, South Park, and the Blue Line Station on Washington at Grand.

Metrolink pass and ticket holders can ride DASH free. See the DASH Downtown Los Angeles schedule and route map for specific stops and route information.

Metro Red Line

The Red Line runs between Union Station and the Wilshire District or North Hollywood, with Downtown stops at 1st and Hill Streets (Civic Center Station), Hill and 5th Streets (Pershing Square Station), and 7th and Flower Streets (Metro Center Station). The Red Line Station is located directly below the Metrolink train platforms. Metrolink pass and ticket holders can ride the Metro Red Line free.

DASH Routes A and B serve the Civic Center Station. DASH Routes B and D serve the Pershing Square Station. DASH Routes A,B,E & F serve the 7th St./Metro Center Station.

TRANSFERS

  • Transfers between Commuter Express routes to/from DASH can be made using your Commuter Express 31-Day pass.
  • Transfers between Commuter Express routes, to/from all DASH routes, and to/from most fixed route transit services in LA County can be made using your EZ transit pass.*
  • Transfers can also be made to other Commuter Express routes and to/from most other fixed route transit services in LA County by buying a $.25 Interagency Transfer when you pay your Commuter Express fare. ($.10 for seniors/persons with disabilities.)*
  • Interagency Transfers are not valid on DASH.
  • Commuter Express tickets are not valid on DASH.

* Based on zones travelled on the connecting route, some transfers may require an additional fare.
